When a big meteor collides with a sleepy town, pet dogs develop an unexplained aggressiveness. Residents are being attacked and killed. Roslyn (Mays) and her elderly but devoted dog Shep are camping when the attacks occur. Now separated by town's tumult and blocked highways, Roslyn and her family must band together to fight back against the bloodthirsty hounds before the dogs take over the entire town and escape becomes impossible.
