Christopher Gill is a psychotic killer who disguises himself in a variety of ways to trick and strangle people, then kills them. Moe Brummel is a New York City police detective who is single and very stressed. She starts to get phone calls from the strangler, and they start to build a strange friendship. In this case, Kate Palmer is a swinging, hip tour guide who sees the strangler leave her dead neighbor's apartment. She wants to find the detective who caught him.
