It is the 1880s and Dusty Rivers, a Texas Ranger, is on a search for Jacques Corbeau, a man wanted for murder. People of French and Native heritage want to form a separate country called the "Riel Rebellion." He ends up in the middle of this fight. For some reason, Dusty likes April Logan, a nurse who Jim Brett also likes. During the fights between the rebels and the Mounties, April's brother gets into a fight with Courbeau's daughter, Louvette. It doesn't matter how bad things get for Dusty. She wants to bring Corbeau back to Texas (and April, too, if he can manage it.)
