Meanwhile, Terry Malloy is caring to his pigeons and doing favors for Johnny Friendly, the crooked boss of the dockers union, by running errands at the docks. Terry sees the murder of a guy by two of Johnny's men, and subsequently meets the victim's sister and feels remorseful. They see Father Barry, who tries to pressure him into handing over information to the courts in order to break up dock racketeers.
