What lengths would you go to be with the person you love? The year is2003, and two Iraqi men meet by coincidence and fall in love in the midst of a war-torn country where homosexuality is illegal. Staying in their native country will put them at risk of persecution and even death. Nayyef is a translator for the United States military. Btoo is a soldier in the Iraqi Army. The following year, Nayyef leaves his beloved, living in Seattle with the goal of reuniting with Btoo in an environment where they may express their love openly and without fear of being rejected.
