Painless
Painless is set in Catalonia and tells two stories. In one, set during the Spanish Civil War, an asylum tries to help children who don't feel pain by teaching them how to feel pain. In the second, in the present time, a brilliant neurosurgeon who needs a bone marrow transplant finds out about this dark past when he goes to find his biological parents and looks for them.
