Pickup on South Street

Pickpocket Skip McCoy causes a series of events when he targets ex-prostitute Candy and steals her wallet in New York City. Skip McCoy is arrested and sentenced to prison. Candy, who has been on the run from the FBI for months in the hopes of apprehending the spy ringleader, is sent by her ex-boyfriend, Joey, to track down Skip and retrieve the highly classified microfilm he has hidden in his possession. Candy has no idea that she has been delivering highly classified information to the communists.
