Pioneer
Pioneer takes place in the early 1980s, just as the Norwegian oil boom is getting underway. In the North Sea, huge amounts of oil and gas have been discovered, and the government plan to bring the oil to the beach via a pipeline from a depth of 500 meters. When it comes to taking on the most perilous endeavor, no one does it better than professional diver Petter who is fascinated with reaching the bottom of the Norwegian Sea. It everything changes in a split second as a horrific accident takes place. This dangerous journey causes Petter to lose track of who is in charge. In time, he learns that he's in a predicament that threatens his own survival.
