Maynard, a beloved neighborhood businessman is misinterpreted for the epic Bigfoot during an inebriated prance through community in a makeshift gorilla outfit. The discoveries set off a global Bigfoot media spectacle as well as a windfall of tourism dollars for a basic American town hit by tough times. When Brock Masterson, reality TV's "Monster Hunter," gets here to hunt the beast, Maynard struggles over whether to come clean, damaging the regeneration of his precious community, or continue the inadvertent scam.
