Pressure
A story about five teenagers who grew up in Harlem, New York, in the 1980s. New kids are coming into the world called "hip hop" kids, but they were born at the same time as kids who took crack cocaine. The next day after Karon graduates in 1985, he goes to sleep for the rest of the night. Having dreams inside dreams takes him into a real drama, as well as a possible future in the 1990s as a drug-selling young man, which is what he might do. His quick money attitude is bad for the community, and in the end, his best friends get caught in the crossfire of his illegal activity. In 1985, he wakes up and realizes that the "easy way out" that was given to him wasn't a new start, but the end.
