Pulp: a Film About Life, Death & Supermarkets

With songs like 'Common People' and 'Disco 2000,' Pulp rose to international prominence in the 1990s with hits like "Common People." After 25 years (and ten million album sales), they return to Sheffield for their final concert in the United Kingdom. The members of the band give a career-best performance that is only available in the film, during which they discuss fame, love, mortality, and car maintenance. A dream-like carefully constructed tableaux involving ordinary individuals recruited from the streets of Sheffield are interwoven with the band's personal offers by director Florian Habicht (Love Story). PULp is a musical film unlike any other, both amusing and moving while also encouraging and (at times) confusing.
