Qissa
This story is set in post-colonial India. Umber Singh is a Sikh who is forced to leave his village because of ethnic cleansing at the time of the partition in 1947. Decides to do something about it. Umber starts building a new home for his family. It's a big moment when Umber marries Kanwar, his youngest child, to Neeli, a girl from a lower caste. The family is forced to face the truth about who they are and what they want to do.
