Rebellion
Ouvéa Island, New Caledonia, April 1988 30 gendarmes are kidnapped by Kanak freedom fighters. To restore order, 300 soldiers are dispatched from France. Philippe Legorjus, head of the terrorist squad, and Alphonse Dianou, head of the kidnappers, square off. They will attempt to make discussion triumphant by leveraging their shared values. But, in the midst of a presidential election, when the stakes are political, order isn't always dictated by morality. A violent and troubling epic that sees the return of Mathieu Kassovitz in both front and behind the camera.
