Red Riding: In the Year of Our Lord 1974

It's 1974 in Yorkshire, and people are afraid, mistrustful, and distrustful of the police. First-time reporter Eddie Dunford wants to find the truth in a complicated web of lies and deception surrounding the police investigation into a string of child abductions. To find out what happened to young Clare Kemplay, Eddie and his co-worker, Barry, convince their editor to let them look into possible connections to two other abductions in the last decade. Before Eddie and Barry go to the construction site owned by the local property magnate and find a mutilated body, they have to deal with threats, shocking revelations, and police brutality.
