Are there any rules in Los Angeles? It's hard for Mike Terry to make ends meet as a jujitsu teacher. She is from Brazil and has a family that promotes fights. She wants to see Mike in the ring and make money. To him, competition is downright bad. A woman sideswipes Mike's car. Then, after a weird chain of events, she shoots out the window of the studio where the show is being taped. Later that night, an action movie star gets into a fight at a bar. Mike intervenes and saves the man. In return, the actor gets to know Mike, gives him a gift, offers him a job on his new movie, and introduces Mike's wife to his own. The women start a business relationship. In a flash, Mike's debts start to grow, and going into the ring may be his only choice.
