Ava, a lady with a Type A personality, is the owner of a company called "Rent-an-Elf," through which she helps harried families have an enjoyable and memorable Christmas. This year, she is employed by Liam, who is freshly single, and she falls in love with both him and his lovely son, Nathan. But just when Ava thinks she's met the person she's going to spend the rest of her life with, Liam's ex-wife comes back, eager to make amends.
