Hinako, a college student who loves to surf and has recently relocated to a tiny seaside town, has just moved in with her boyfriend. Minato, a handsome firefighter, rescues her from a blaze at her apartment building, and the two soon fall in love. Minato dies in an accident at sea just as they become attached. Even though Hinako can no longer gaze at the ocean, she sings a song that brings back memories of their time together, and Minato emerges in the water. She can now call him to any aquatic surface by singing their song, but will they be together for the rest of their lives? Why did Minato suddenly return in the first place?
