The young pianist, Ye Xiang Lun, has recently transferred to Tamkang, a school that is well-known for producing musically gifted kids, particularly those who play the piano. After hearing a mysterious melody being played on his first day of school, he follows the song and comes across Lu Xiao Yu, another piano major. When he inquires about the song she was performing, she informs him that it is a well guarded secret that cannot be revealed. The two immediately build a connection that quickly develops into a romantic engagement between them. In spite of this, Xiang Lun soon discovers that Xiao Yu is far more complex than he appears on the surface.
