Pregnant Maureen's husband Eddie has gone missing. Neighbor Kiefer approaches Maureen and attempts to rape her before beating her. As soon as Eddie arrives home and sees his wife bleeding profusely, he goes nuts, shoots a paramedic, and is subsequently sent to a mental hospital. For the first time since his release ten years ago, Eddie discovers Maureen has divorced him, remarried, and has three children, including Eddie's daughter Jeanie. To reclaim his wife, Eddie departs.
