The diminutive plane Tinny aspires to be a hero, but in a friendly team of inexperienced planes, he is overlooked. Despite Captain Ben's prohibition, he sets out to save people from fire one day, but his life is endangered, and the captain saves him at the cost of his own life. Tinny leaves the team and begins working at mine out of misery, guilt, and fear. But then the raging fire brings back memories, and he rushes to his friends' aid without hesitation.
