Mykola is an eccentric pacifist who wishes to contribute to humanity. When the war in Donbass begins, Mykola's innocent world crumbles as militants kill his pregnant wife and burn down his house. After he has recovered, he makes a critical decision and enlists in a sniper company. After meeting his wife's killers, he emotionally collapses and arranges "sniper terror" for the enemy. His instructor, who is himself mortally wounded, saves him from a senseless death. The death of a friend leaves a "scar," and Mykola is willing to give his life.
