The fact that Emma was raised by her grandmother as an orphan means that she has worked hard for all of the things she has. She is proud of the simple life she has built for herself. When she starts dating him and agrees to marry him, she thinks she's found her soul mate and moves into a much more luxurious world than she's used to. In that world, there is also Frank, Ted's sexy twin brother, who has feelings for her that go beyond family ties. Ted used his inheritance to start a successful global technology business.
