Starchaser: The Legend of Orin

As a group of humans work underground, they are treated as slaves by the evil overlord Zygon until one, Orin, finds the legendary sword's hilt. Only he can use it, and he does. To get out of the planet, he runs into Dagg, two helpful droids, and the princess. They all work together to return to the Mine-World with a plan to defeat Zygon and free Orin's slavers.
