Summer of '67

Summer of '67 is based on real events. It shows how the Vietnam War affected people in the sixties and how they had to deal with the hardships they had to deal with. While her husband is away on the USS Forrestal, Milly (Rachel Schrey) has to live with her mother-in-law, because her husband is a young man. There are two men in the movie: Peter, Kate's high school sweetheart, and Van, her new hippie boyfriend. She finally found true love with Reggie (Jerrold Edwards), but the draft took him away from her by the time she could say "I love you." Women wonder whether or not their man will come back, and even if they do, will their lives be the same.
