Support Your Local Sheriff
A shrewd traveler stumbles into a lawless gold rush town. Shocked by the high cost of food, he reluctantly accepts the Sheriff's post, impressing the Mayor with his dead-on handgun accuracy. He tells the town council he is merely passing through on his route to Australia and will depart whenever he wants (including at the first sign of real trouble). On his first day, he meets his klutzy love interest and the biggest, meanest rancher family.
