Tanna
During the course of a traditional tribal civilization in the South Pacific, a young girl named Wawa falls in love with the grandson of her chief, Dain. A conflict between tribes grows, and Wawa is unwittingly betrothed as part of a peace agreement. The young lovers flee, refusing to accept her predetermined fate. They must choose between their hearts and the future of the tribe, while the villagers must grapple with the difficult task of conserving their traditional culture while also adapting it to the increasing demands for individual freedom from the outside world, which is threatening their way of life.
