The 13th Warrior

Ahmad ibn Fadlan, a Muslim diplomat who has been exiled from his kingdom, finds himself in the company of Vikings. While ibn Fadlan is initially offended by the Norsemen's actions, the more sophisticated outsider comes to revere the tough, albeit vulgar, warriors. During their journeys together, ibn Fadlan and the Vikings learn of an evil presence approaching, and they must battle the terrifying and formidable force that was previously considered to exist only in mythology.
