The Appaloosa

A man tries to get back a horse that was stolen from him by a Mexican bandit. The Appaloosa, also called Southwest to Sonora, is a 1966 Technicolor American Western movie from Universal Pictures. It is set in the 1870s and stars Marlon Brando, Anjanette Comer, and John Saxon, who was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor for his role as a Mexican bandit. Sidney J. Furie directed the movie, which was shot in Mexico. Even though it has almost the same title, the 2008 movie Appaloosa with Ed Harris and Viggo Mortensen is neither related to nor a remake of this one.
