The Assent

Joel, a young single parent, begins to worry that his little son may be possessed after a string of strange occurrences at his house. A controversial exorcist in town is soon on Joel's doorstep. Father Lambert's last patient died following his treatment. Increasingly terrifying events happen, and the priest warns a reluctant Joel that the devil will soon have complete power over his son unless he can execute an exorcism.
