The Black Stallion

Alec is attracted by a mystery Arabian steed brought on board and stabled in the ship he is sailing on with his father. When it sinks, he and his horse are left alone on a barren island. The two become friends and after rescued, return to his home where they meet Henry Dailey, a former trainer. They start training the horse to compete with the world's quickest.
