The Blockhouse

When the Allies invade Normandy on D-Day, a group of Slave labourers selected by the Nazis to help build their coastal defenses are trapped in a subterranean bunker. They discover a vast supply of food, but not enough light. During their incarceration, they became increasingly irritable, sick, and jealous as the light faded. Le Blockhaus, by Jean Paul Clebert, is the inspiration for this film.
