The Broken Lullaby

During World War I, a young French soldier is plagued with remorse after he is responsible for the death of a German soldier who, like himself, is a musically brilliant conscript. Both soldiers had attended the same music conservatory in France during their conscription. The fact that the occurrence took place during a war is in no way going to absolve him of his guilt. He goes to Germany in order to meet the man's relatives there.
