The Challenger Disaster
On the eve of the Challenger explosion in 1986, one engineer goes to extraordinary lengths to avert the disaster. This irate engineer makes a last-ditch effort to cancel the billion-dollar, multi-delayed Challenger launch, afraid that the O-ring seals will break and murder everyone on board. A business choice was made by the Company, Marshall Space Flight, and NASA. He made a rational choice.
