It is 1941, and the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor has shattered American morale. President Franklin D. Roosevelt of the United States then decides to risk it all by bombing Tokyo in order to give his citizens more hope. A US Air Force unit is forced to make an emergency landing in China after completing its mission. Its commander, Jack Turner (Emilie Hirsch), barely survives but is rescued by Ying (Crystal Liu), a local widow who will go to any length to keep him hidden from the Japanese occupier.
