The Color of Money

"Fast Eddie" Felson, a former pool hustler, has come to the conclusion that he wants to get back into the game and has decided to take a pupil. He strikes up a conversation with the skilled but inexperienced Vincent Lauria and suggests working together. Eddie instructs Vincent in the finer points of cons while the two of them go from pool hall to pool hall. However, Eddie soon becomes exasperated with Vincent's showboat antics, which leads to a dispute between the two of them as well as a break in their relationship. After picking up the game once more, Eddie quickly finds himself pitted against Vincent in competition.
