The Concert

Andre Filipov, a former world-famous conductor of the Bolsho orchestra nicknamed as "The Maestro" whose career was publically destroyed by Leonid Brezhnev for employing Jewish players, now cleans the concert hall where he formerly conducted. He intercepts a formal invitation from the famed Théâtre du Châtelet one day. He reunites his former orchestra, now comprised of elderly drunken members, and flies to Paris to complete the Tchaikovsky concerto that was stopped 30 years before. For the concerto, he recruits a young violin soloist with whom he shares an unanticipated relationship.
