The line between the living and the dead blurs for a mother, her daughter, and a stranger in the aftermath of a roadside collision. John Adams, Toby Poser, and their daughter Zelda wrote, directed, and produced the film as a family effort. They also star in the film, direct it, and write the score. The family filmmaking team uses their existence in the Catskill Mountains to create a distinct cold tone, creating a magnificent portrayal of ingenuity. The skeletal woodland evokes the mood of dreams, and as the picture enters the domain of the avant-garde, its blue-toned photography takes us into the sea of the subconscious.
