The Divine Order
Nora is a young mother and housewife who lives in a quaint little village with her husband and their two sons. She and her husband met in college. The significant societal shifts that the movement of 1968 brought about have not yet made their way out into the Swiss countryside. Nora's life is unaffected as well; she is a reserved individual who is well-liked by everyone. That is, until she begins to publicly battle for women's suffrage on February 7, 1971, which is the day that the men are scheduled to vote on whether or not women should be allowed to vote.
