The Double

The mystery assassination of a US senator, which bears the signature of the famed Soviet assassin 'Cassius,' prompts veteran CIA operative Paul Shepherson to link up with rookie FBI agent Ben Geary to solve the case. Shepherdson believes Cassius is long dead after spending his career following him, but his former supervisor, Tom Highland, pressures him to take on the case. Cassius has resurfaced, according to Geary, who based his Master's thesis on Shepherdson's hunt for the Soviet killer.
