The Eel
When Yamashita, a white-collar worker, discovers that his wife has a lover who visits her when he is abroad, he returns home and murders her. The eel he "befriended" in prison is the only person he interacts with when he returns to the little village where he lives and establishes a barber shop (his prison training as a barber). This happens one day and it brings up memories of his ex-wife. She begins to work at his shop, but he does not allow her to draw too close to him, despite her efforts.
