The Enchanting Phantom

An old love story about a scholar who falls in love with a female ghost and tries to free her from a demon who wants to keep her as a slave for life. People go to the capital to take state exams. Ning Cai Chen is going. Along the way, he spends the night at a temple called Lan Ruo. There, he meets and falls in love with Nie Xiao Qian, a ghost who tempts men to give their life essence to Lao Lao as an offering. They are now together after a lot of work. Lao Lao, on the other hand, wants to marry Ning Cai Chen off to a demon called the Heishan Demon, but he doesn't want to marry her off.
