Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini's film THE EXTRA MAN is a sophisticated and moving comedy. THE EXTRA MAN follows Louis Ives (Paul Dano), a lonely dreamer who imagines himself as the hero of an F. Scott Fitzgerald novel. When a humiliating incident forces Louis to leave his job at an exclusive Princeton prep school, he travels to New York City to start over.
