The Gendarme Takes Off

The entire police station clique of Cruchot has retired. Now he lives with his wealthy bride at her castle, where he is almost completely bored. He quarrels with the butler since he is not even permitted to perform simple tasks. But when one of the group suffers from amnesia following an accident, the others reconnect and kidnap him in order to take him on a tour of their former workplaces and memories. They turn St. Tropez upside down while wearing their old uniforms.
