The Highwayman
After kidnapping Elizabeth, the headstrong daughter of the Earl of Pembroke by accident, infamous highway robber Dick Turpin finds himself on the run in the rural areas of England. As Elizabeth's betrothed Winthroppe makes efforts to find them, she begins to develop feelings for the charming highwayman. This forces Turpin, who has no choice but to compete with Winthroppe for Elizabeth's affections and her riches, to engage in a battle with Winthroppe.
