The Kings of Summer

A precocious young man, Joe Toy is becoming increasingly irritated with his single father Frank's attempts to keep him in line as he approaches puberty. He runs to a clearing in the woods with Patrick, his best buddy, and a weird child named Biaggio, declaring his freedom once and for all. In the future, he says, they're planning to build a house there, free of responsibilities and guardians. Upon completion of their impromptu dwelling, the three young guys find themselves in charge of their own destiny, stranded in the woods.
