The Land Before Time IV: Journey Through the Mists

Littlefoot and the rest of the group meet a shy newcomer named Ali, but that's all they say to each other. In this third book in the series, the weather changes outside of the Great Valley, and what used to be dry land is now a "land of mists." This is a bad sign for the environment. When Littlefoot has to go into the area to find a healing flower for his sick grandfather, he sees for himself how drastically things have changed. Even though the animation is slow and small, like most direct-to-video cartoons, the story is good and the characters are easy to remember.
