The Last Hard Men

Zach Provo, a half-Indian who was imprisoned during the later part of the nineteenth century, is one of the criminals who escapes from prison while on a road gang in the early twentieth century. Sam Burgade, a lawman who not only captured him but was also responsible for the death of Provo's wife, at least in Provo's eyes, is hunted down and killed by a group of six fugitives. He intends to kidnap Burgade's daughter as part of his scheme, which motivates him to mount his horse and go after Burgade. How long will it take Burgade to track down Provo, given that he has been out of the game for a while.
