A large-format and 3D cinema experience showcasing one of nature's most brilliant and diversified wonderlands, The Last Reef comes from the Academy Award nominated creators of the Broadway play STOMP and the award-winning film Wild Ocean. Coral reefs from around the world, pulsing sea walls in the sub-arctic bursting with anemones and crabs – these biodiversity hot places are as important to our survival as rainforests. Using ground-breaking 3D cinematography, The Last Reef was filmed on location in Palau, Vancouver Island, French Polynesia, Mexico, and The Bahamas. It takes us on a global trip to examine the relationship between our cities on land and the complex, parallel world of coral reefs beneath the sea.
