Frank, his fiancee Zoe, and their crew have accomplished the impossible: they have discovered a means to bring the dead back to life. They're ready to share their findings after a successful but illegal experiment on a lifeless animal. When their dean discovers what they've done, he dismisses them. Frank decides to test the method on Zoe after she is killed while attempting to duplicate the experiment. Zoe has been resurrected, but something dark lurks within her.
