The Long Good Friday

As a Cockney crime lord attempting to establish himself as a legitimate property developer in the late 1970s, Harold Shand has ambitious ambitions to get the American Mafia to provide funding for his renovation of a decrepit section of London into a potential site for future Olympic Games. The Americans are in town for a weekend, and a sequence of blasts attacks his empire on the same day they arrive in town. Assuming that a traitor exists within his organization, Shand embarks on a violent campaign to exterminate the instigator of the plot.
